Example: doctor's practice

A magnet with a logo and the words "Your next appointment", plus phone number and email. After every appointment, a small handwritten slip with the next date is simply placed under the magnet on the fridge. This lowers no-shows and keeps the practice present.

What belongs on the magnet, and what doesn't

Well suited: QR code, email address, website, logo, a product photo. Not suited: prices, menus or fixed dates, since this kind of information can change and would make the magnet look outdated.

Which industries this suits

Especially fitting for hairdressers, dentists, GPs and beauty salons, basically anywhere fixed appointments matter and no-shows cost money. For delivery services it's more about independence from ordering platforms.

To put it in perspective: if a practice misses an appointment slot, the doctor, assistant and equipment sit idle for an hour, which can easily cost several hundred euros. For a delivery service doing around 10,000 euros in monthly revenue through a platform charging roughly 30% commission, shifting some of that to direct orders, even with a discount for customers, could mean several hundred to over 1,000 euros a month in the example. That's a rough calculation, not a guarantee for every business.
